Group chats are a hassle and inefficient, shared calendars can be clunky and don’t protect privacy. Free Time aims to make it easier to find you and your friends’ shared free time. Free Time will allow students to upload their schedules, see their friends’ schedules and plan the best time for the group to meet up that works for everyone.

Free Time is a hypothetical app completed as a final project for my Digital Media Innovation Capstone course. As a group, my team and I used design thinking to brainstorm our idea for Free Time. Using the lean canvas method, we narrowed down our audience, goals, etc. for this product. As a team, we completed research on our idea before collaborating on a proposal presentation.Using this research, I developed a prototype presentation giving details about the features and functions of Free Time.
